Deepak Chopra’s new book is “The Third Jesus: The Christ We Cannot Ignore”
I’m gonna try.

alas, I did not.
Do not hate the book.
Hate the author.
His work is half a step up on the “Chicken Soup” stuff and “Everything I needed to learn I learned in kindergarten” crap.
Funny…
A waldenbooks was going oout of business a few years back and my brother went in to raid their philosophy section.
It was ALL Chicken Soup and the like.
He had a frickin’ seizure.
Why are you even bothering with that book?
I just hate the idea of a book telling me what I cannot ignore. Screw you, I’ll make my own decisions.
Hope you found the Garfield thing through Muttroxia…
I have this mental image of you with your fingers in your ears going ‘LALALALALALALALALA’
on a less jesusy note, funniest thing I’ve seen in ages:
“Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield
comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia,
bipolar disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life?
Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle. Let’s laugh and learn with him on a
journey deep into the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as
he fights a losing battle against loneliness and methamphetamine
addiction in a quiet American suburb.”
